HELP-NGO was founded in 1996 August and has moved on to become one of the leading social enterprises in Sierra Leone. We practice and preach enterprise approaches to poverty reduction. We are convinced that the social and economic issues of the poor are inextricably
linked.

Our approach to creating lasting solutions to social problems is entrepreneurial and market based. We
are strong believers that charity only perpetuates poverty by taking the initiative away from the poor.
We are aware that the only way to fight persistent poverty is to create sustainable income earning
